Who We Are
We are a professional establishment offering legal services nationwide. D. Findlay & Partners was initially founded by our Managing Partner, Mrs. Dessislava Findlay, as a sole partnership in 2015. The firm grew and expanded into a partnership with a larger team, still managed by Mrs. Dessislava Findlay.
We now have a team that handles criminal matters headed by Mr. Charles Changano, who has over 27 years of criminal prosecution experience. We also have a dedicated conveyancing department and continue with the civil litigation department headed by Mrs. Dessislava Findlay, who has more than 20 years of experience in civil litigation.
We pride ourselves in offering excellent legal services and exceptional responsiveness at competitive rates. We take a business-minded approach to our work and are committed to providing the highest level of service with individual attention to Clients.

Mrs. Dessislava Findlay
Managing Partner and Head of Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Corporate Management
Findlay specializes in commercial litigation, commercial law, providing advice on commercial contracts, company law, and matrimonial disputes.
She has a strong background in business, having set up a number of successful business operations that she has managed over 30 years. Findlay transitioned into full-time law practice as she is passionate about litigation and commercial law.
Mr. Charles Changano
Head of Criminal Litigation
Changano has vast knowledge and skill in all criminal prosecutions. With 27 years of experience as Public Prosecutor, he is well placed with any type of criminal matters, both in defending and private prosecution.
He worked at Zambia Police for 11 years, then Drug Enforcement Commission for 16 years, and subsequently at Zambia Revenue Authority as Prosecutor for 5 years.
Ms. Nasira Adam
Executive Associate
Ms. Adam has been with the firm for 7 years. She specializes in commercial litigation, matrimonial matters, corporate setup, and all civil litigation.
She has experience in alternative dispute resolution and has represented Clients successfully in arbitration matters.
Mr. Benedict Mwengwe Chipopo
Senior Associate
Mr. Chipopo is ably trained to handle criminal and civil litigation. He is also specialized in employment matters, Wills, probate, and administration of deceased Estates.
